You can make your API access more secure by adding IP addresses that will make a request to the API endpoint. If no IP addresses are on the list, then any IP address can make the request. Once an IP address is added to the list, only IP addresses on the list will be recognized and accepted.
Navigate to the far right of your screen and click the top right icon for Account Settings.
Locate API Key on the menu and click into it.
Scroll down to the IP Address Restriction section and click on the blue Add New IP Address button.
Add the IP addresses that are allowed to access the server via API and click on Save IP address.
